Cupid's arrow and the thought of romance are often inter-connect with each other. For many, the thought of romance is also connected with the Hallmark Channel and their endless stream of feature movies that attempt to define what Cupid's arrow and romance should look like.
For those that love the western United States, love the idea of a wedding in the great outdoors, would like to enjoy romantic destination in southwest Montana it is The Chapel Cabin at Boulder Creek Lodge.
Over the past 6 years of our ownership of Boulder Creek Lodge we have hosted a variety of special events, big and small. One of the most enjoyable aspects of owning this resort is how much we have been blessed to host the many a good friends (what we consider Boulder Creek Lodge guests) and families that have provided us with many laughs and fun memories.
The guests and BCL family members that have chosen to celebrate their special wedding event or family reunion events have helped make owning Boulder Creek Lodge a dream become reality for both Jennifer and myself.
The total beauty of The Chapel Cabin is indeed incredibly special and memorable. The distinct amenities include a beautiful and comfortable queen bed, a full-size fold down futon couch, wonderful wrap around porch with his and hers Adirondack chairs, dressing blind, heat, ceiling fan, and a bell tower with rope and bell that can actually be tolled in recognition of the special day (not after 9:00 p.m. please).
While indeed the bride and groom cherish the beauty of our cabin we refer to as The Chapel, there is much more about their stay at BCL they remember.
The bride and groom stay at Boulder Creek Lodge includes enjoyment of everything our resort offers but also the surrounding events and shopping opportunities while visiting Phillipsburg just 11 miles north of BCL.
Many a bride and groom have visited Philipsburg just north of our place where they enjoyed finding their forever rings at Sapphire Gallery followed by a visit at the world famous candy store the Sweet Palace Candy Store. There are a couple other "must visit" businesses in Philipsburg, The Montana Gems Store and Philipsburg Brewing Company.
While the beauty of The Chapel is special indeed, there is much more to our resort. The tranquility of the Boulder Creek be it sunrise or sunset is "Lifetime Photo" special. The opportunity to sit at a nearby picnic table or even perhaps sitting on a large boulder in the creek itself will forever be a featured part of the event photo album.
While there may be a night during the celebration where wedding dinner would be held outdoors perhaps under the special event tents, families can also enjoy the fun of cooking around the campfire outside of their cabin, tipi, or wagon.
Do not forget about the option of breakfast and dinner menus available that we offer at The Boulder Restaurant. The food is awesome (I can say that... I'm the cook) and the price of the entrées are affordable for the entire family to enjoy.
